About Us:                                             

RARE CrossFit is an Elite Fitness Facility located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  We offer group instruction, one-on-one personal training, boot camp classes, and team training.  We are also the first and only CrossFit Kids Affiliate in the Fredericksburg area.  The backgrounds of our clients are diverse, but their fitness needs differ only by degree, not kind.  We provide comprehensive health and fitness instruction to families, kids, athletes of all ages and ability, students, military and law enforcement personnel.  Some of our clients are training to improve their health and well being, while others are training to run a marathon or more.  We focus on core strength and conditioning, using functional movements, while scaling the load and intensity for individual ability.

Our Philosophy:                                   

RARE CrossFit’s Goal is to improve not only your level of fitness, but your self confidence as well!!!  We do not want to sit you down at 5 or 10 different pieces of exercise equipment and tell you to do 10 repetitions.  How will this benefit you?  We strive to teach you fundamental movements that will help you in everyday life activities, movements that predate the modern gym facility and philosophy.  Way back in history, before the “Commercial” Gym, our ancestors were squatting, running, jumping, pulling, pushing, climbing, carrying, and throwing.  Our bodies were designed and meant to function in this manner.  Our programs recondition and rejuvenate you for the challenges of everyday life!
